OK, I had a domain that was registered with another host - and I'm cancelling my account with that host. I have pointed the nameservers of that domain name (domain2.com) to HM - and now I show domain2.com as an add on domain at HM. But then I started thinking about the email there - like admin@domain2.com What do I do to be sure I still have email using domain2.com? I'm sorry, I'm sure not very good at this stuff.
Thanks.

You must create the same accounts on HM.
If you had admin@domain2.com at your old hosting, then you must create admin@domain2.com at HM.

its the same with how you add email account to your primary domain.
when add email account, make sure you select the right domain name
after setup, you can login to webmail or using email client to send receive email. for testing.

Yes the only problem is if you have scripts sending mail using your subdomain emails you will get boxXX.your-root-domain.hostmonster.com as sender.

you will get "boxXX.your-root-domain.hostmonster.com"... when your email is not setup properly.

Very true, of course, let's hope the script has the feature to configure it properly or else you'll have to go manually edit the script to make it work
