I am trying to install Zen Cart (from scratch - my experiences with Fantastico weren't so great) and it asked me for the HTTP_SERVER. is that just mydomain.com or is there a specific IP address that I need to enter?

I don't know anything about Zen Cart but I'd think that yourdomain.com is your http_server address. Anything else is ultimately likely to change. For instance, even if you use your http://host54.hostmonster.com/~yourdomain/ as the server address, then if hostmonster admin moves you to a different server as has happened recently to many users, your configuration is broken. Same for the IP address unless you've paid the extra $$ for a fixed IP.
