Symbolic link question

Sorry if this is way obvious, but am I correct in thinking I need to submit a request for shell access (I know how, just haven't yet) to be able to create symbolic links on our site, or is there a way to do that through cpanel? Thanks!

Ok, I answered my own question before anyone else did. You can also just run a one-time cron job to execute the shell commands.

thanks for figuring this out. I don't doubt this will be very helpful to those without shell access. I have to admit I never thought of doing it this way.
