he wants to transfer to hostmonster .. but i surprised when i talk to the support and they say we don't move ur files or data !
and they give me a link to a company that do that .. but they r expensive !!
anyway i belive there r an easy way to do it ! some script or shell or anything ! i can make a backup of the database and put it in the public_html folder but then how i can transfer it or download it into my hostmonster account?
plz give me any ideas i have to transfer in those days because my account there will expire soon ..
i can't use ftp to download the database and upload it again !! because my connection is too slow and may take days until i finish it by this way ..

honestly if you don't have high speed internet or someone who will let you use theirs you don't have much of a choice.

Actually I just went through this, transferred a vB forum to hm. If you have a vB forum, there is documentation on their site on how to do the transfer from server to server via ssh(click here) (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/moving_servers). I had problems and ended up backup the database, downloading, editing the file (username changed from old host to hm), ftping file to new server and restoring the database.
Worked pretty smoothly, only seemed to loose the custom avatars, and frankly loosing 4000 posts, or loosing avatars, I think the avatars were good.

I just moved a Joomla installation (about 75MB of files and 6MB of database) to hostmonster yesterday.
As snikle said, it isn't going to be as easy as downloading and uploading, though it is almost that easy. If you have php scripts, like VB, phpBB, SMF, etc, you will most certainly have to change a few things in the config files before uploading to the new host. You most likely have to chnage installation paths, database username/password information and anything else this forum needs to work properly.
I'm pretty sure the database can simply be uploaded through the backup/restore function of CPanel, but you will have to recreate the username/password at the new site because this information is not backed up at the old site.
Once you download the old site through backup, you will most likely have to untar the file you downloaded and as I said before, make changes to any and all config files required for the proper operation of the site.
If you willing, you should be able to do this fairly easily, but if you are worried about messing things up, then your only other option would be to spend the money for someone else to do it.

Check this out: http://lixlpixel.org/php_mirror/
this is a php script which allows you to transfer your files from server to server. (Since this is a PHP script and does not use FTP, I think you can only transfer files in the public_html directory)(file visible to web browsers)
It worked for me, but with some limitations. when I chose to transfer large amounts of data (for example over 50MB) I received a Server Hiccup error (I'm not sure about this, but I think this error is beacuse of CPU USAGE LIMIT in SHARED HOTING PACKAGES)
So I devided my files into smaller parts. and transfered each part separately.
