For people that want to add some visual pop to their sites without spending hours in a high end graphics program, microsoft word 2007 can be great.

I have created a page containing some of the graphics that I just made for my site, none of them took more than two or three minutes.

Wow. Very impressive. And you did those with Word alone? How about a short tutorial or at least a steer in the right direction... like is all of this done with Word Art?

Word 2007 has a new feature called 'smartart' Just click that and a menu of different graphics come up. You can then select various styles and colors and siimply insert your text.

I just used the presets, but if you want to you can make the various shapes any color you want and you can adjust the 3D effects also.

Once done just right click and 'copy' and then open up paint and paste the image and save it into 'my pictures'.

Easy as that.

BTW word 2007 is available as a free download for a 90 day trial.

Those do look good. I just got office 2007 the other day I will check it out.

Thanks!!! :)

Probably should covert those to a .png or a .jpeg though those I hate those huge .bmp's :(

I figured that out after I had published the whole site:rolleyes:

I have since converted them all to jpeg and the next time I publish the new images will overwrite the bmp.s

We live and learn.
