Hi all,
I have a website with domain name remzigulsun.name.tr and having bandwith problems, so I had an account at hostmonster.com. My website is a mambo website. I don't know how to move my mambo website to hostmonster server. I set up remzigulsun.name.tr as main domain name at hostmonster.com. I did some research and figured out that I should do these things in order. I want to make sure if these procedures are ok for domain moving.
1. Go to cpanel, choose back-up
2. Back up main directory
3. Back up aliases and filters
4. Back up mysql databses connected with main directory.
5. Go to new server's (hostmonster) cpanel, choose back-up
6. Restore home directory
7. Restore aliases and filters
8. Restore databes backed up previously.
I haven't done these yet, before attempting it I want to make sure these are the proper steps for moving a mambo website to another server. Will be glad for feedbacks.
