squirrel mail vs horde

Hi, I have just registered my website and am in the process of setting it up and have the option of choosing Horde or Squirrel Mail. I have not heard of either. I was wondering if the members could tell me what are the pros and cons of each? also what are the big differences? Thanks in advance!!

While it may not be obvious to a new user, there's no reason why you have to use either Squirrel or Horde. By following the directions in the email section of HostMonster help, you can configure the email client of your choice to work with your mail. Web based clients are great for their 'away from home' convenience but many users prefer the slicker interface of a dedicated email application.
