I built a website for my father's business (algerfarms.com) and when I use Internet Explorer, everything is just about hunky dory. However, when you view the website with Mozilla Firefox or Safari, its all sorts of screwed up. Is there some sort of compatibility setting I can change in Publisher?

I'm not sure, as I don't use Microsoft products to build websites. My reason for doing so is the very reason you posted.

Microsoft products tend to create websites that are designed ONLY for Internet Explorer (a Microsoft product).

Expressions Web is the only product by Microsoft I am aware of that can make better websites, meaning websites that can be viewed by more browsers than just IE. That's because it is a program designed specifically for building websites.

Publisher, Word or any other Office product is not recommended for this use because the code used to create the website is highly bloated and designed only for Microsoft browsers (ie .... IE). In fact, the code isn't even HTML-based for the most part, which is probably why no other browser can render the page properly.

All that to say, I can't really help you with this problem because I'm not familiar enough with Publisher to know if such a setting exists. I can say you can use the help files of the program to find out though, which is what I would do if I had the program.

If your going to use a web content management system don't use "microsoft publisher" use wordpress, Mambo or Joomla for it, there alot harder to use but you get great looking results using them.
