installation of phpbb not working

my friend has an account here and has installed phpbb on winmodevs.com

th problem i am facing is i cant log into my admin account.

the installtion details were sent to me email with the username andd password but its not letting me log in any idea?

i wouldnt pm anyone with account info unless you know who you are pming to.

in your cpanel, go to phpmyadmin
find your phpbb db (probably yourusername_phpb1 )
go to the table phpbb_users
open your phpbb forum in a different tab or window if you must,
create a bogus user
go back to the db page
click on the browse tab
find your bogus user
copy the info from the columns user_password and user_form_salt from the bogus to your admin user
delete the bogus user by deleting the line in the db
