Messed up something... Restore defaults?

Hey I messed up something with my file manager and ftp by accidentally deleting something important. Is there a way that I can restore the default files or any other solution?

I don't know if this is related to my problem, but I checked my error logs and I'm getting this message "unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable." Additionally, my problem is mainly when I am opening up my pagebuilder, it won't pull up my pagebuilder because of an error message. Please let me know if you have any suggestions because I am in trouble.

If you don't mind sharing, what are the contents of your .htaccess file? Bad syntax or corrupt characters in .htaccess rules normally result in Code 500 Internal Server Errors.

Also, what are the file attributes or permission settings for the .htaccess file? It should at least have read access for everyone and write access for the owner (this corresponds to an octal number of 644).
