All right.. i have about 60 plus days till one of my account (rixusher.com) with hostmonster ends. I actually tried the live chat helpdesk and they don't seem to be able to help much. So i'm trying my luck here after emailing billing@hostmonster.com and still no reply to my queries.

how do i go about terminating my account? :)

Any advice from the Mods are much appreciated!

Make sure that your account is not set to auto-renew and let it run its course until it expires.

Just to make sure that no charges are accidentally made to your credit card, you can also put in a request with the Billing Department that you want your credit card information removed. This may sound silly to do since disabling auto-renew should take care of that, but I experienced an incident once where some hiccup in the system decided to do otherwise. Thankfully, HM quickly cleared up the situation and gave me a refund.

Simple. Click on the 'Renew Your Account' shortcut from within cPanel > Preferences.

Thanks alot, Falcon.. hopefully they'll not bill my paypal. So now instead of two hostmonster accounts. I have only one which is pretty much enough....

Once again..thanks.. but do i have to email billing@hostmonster.com again?

I have never used PayPal to pay for hosting so I don't know if any of your PayPal information is kept in the same way that credit card information is kept. If you go to your Profile/Billing page and do not see any unique PayPal information, then you're good.

You don't have to contact Billing if you don't want to, unless if it is to inform them of the setting change you just made.

I see.. thanks alot. i'll most probably drop them an email 2 weeks before the actual date just to confirm...

thanks for being a great help.. you don't happen to be on the staff do you? :)
