When you try to connect to your MySQL database using MySQL Administrator on your local machine, what do you enter for the Server Host?

I have search and found articles for this in Joomla and the results appears to be "LOCALHOST". But the joomla script is on the server so that makes sense. But I am trying to connect remotely so LOCALHOST will refer to my computer.

These forums become a much more valuable resource for us when we include solutions, even if we had to figure them out ourselves.

Whatever it was that had you stuck, it is likely that sooner or later someone else will have the same problem.
