Well after being on the phone for 20 minutes with Hostmonster support, it came to a conclusion that the guy I was talking to could not help me, therefore I have decided to come visit the forums in desperate need of help. I figured that I could install it myself... Everything is in the location in needs to be in (to my understanding...) but it refuses to work!

Heres my URL: www.SurrealVisions.net

Basically its a video website (similar to youtube), and I cannot get it to work for nothing. If you click on the link there at the bottom of my webpage you can see that you can download it. After talking with the representative, he could not tell me whether hostmonster runs off 32 bit or 64 bit, so I assumed it was 64 bit, that didnt work, so I tried 32 bit and THAT didnt work! So I went back to 64 bit. Basically I am stuck and I really need some help from someone! Please guys! Can you help me? Heck if you can just install it for me that would be wonderful!!! Leave contact details, because at this point I am pretty desperate!

Thanks in advance everyone.

~Warmest regards!

A very basic setup would be something like this:

- Download the loaders ( http://www.phpshield.com/loaders/phpshield.loaders.linux-64.zip )
- Extract them to a location of your choosing.
- Edit your php.ini file for the directories you want this loaded in and change:

extension_dir = "/path/to/phpshield_loaders/"
extension = phpshield.5.2ts.lin
(The "extension = " line is assuming your account is running php5. If not, you'll need to change the loader version to the specific version of php 4 Hostmonster is running these days.)

You can test to see if it is loaded by creating a phpinfo page:

<? phpinfo(); ?>

Search for "phpshield".
