Hi,
I have a question. If I have a friend who wants to create a site under my account but, knows nothing about creating a site and I don't want to give them access to my control panel what is the best solution?

I figured I could register the domain for them and install Joomla for them to use their out of the box website tools.

Is there another method anyone would suggest that can grow as the users skills grow?

I am giving this my best guess since I am still new to all of this so any other suggestions are welcome.

Just a word of caution - make sure that you really really really trust your friend. Remember with it running under your account anything he does is your responsibility...

I currently use FileMan to provide account management to a handful of friends. It's somewhat basic in nature, but it provides all the basic tools required to allow users to manage files within a dedicated directory. You can read more about it at http://www.gossamer-threads.com/scripts/fileman/

Cool,
That is good idea for file management but is there any kind of application with an interface I can install in their root which can help them create webs? Would you recommend soho launch?
