Ftp Connection

I am unable to connect to my site using ftp client WS_FTP

I created a ftp user account named "webmaster"

I have set the settings as such

FTP Server: ftp.mydomain.com
Username: webmaster@mydomain.com
Password: mypassword

I have also tried to connect this way

FTP Server: mydomain.com
Username: webmaster
Password: mypassword

But no luck

What am I doing wrong?
