Dreamweaver FTP - Can't set up - Have read other thread by hal & viewed tutorial...

Hi...

I am new to hostmonster and am unable to set up ftp for my site via dreamweaver.
I have read the earlier thread on this topic and have viewed the tutorial video
and hours later I still cannot get my ftp to connect.

The closest I can get is an error message saying
my login or password is incorrect.

Any ideas ???

Use the following settings:

Host: yourdomain.com
Port: 21
Username: Same as cPanel username.
Password: Same as cPanel password.

I've finally got filezilla to connect, so all's not lost...

HM help can't suggest anything I'm doing incorrectly with DW and I've tried a quizzilion different DW ftp logon options, including yours... no joy...

My current DW attempt is:

Access: FTP
FTP Host: mydomain.com (I've tried ftp.mydomain.com also)
Home Directory: /public_html/ (I've tried /www/ and blank)
Login: my cpanel login (i've tried ftp@mydomain.com and others)
Password: my cpanel password
Use Passive FTP: checked (I've tried unchecked also)

I seem to have exhausted most options :-) without success.
The closest I can get is a response tellinh me my login or password is incorrect.

If you have any more suggestions, I'd appreciate your help, I'm going to use Filezilla for the moment but would like DW to work properly...
