Filezilla FTP trouble

I'm trying to use filezilla for FTP but it won't work. I put in the pass user name all that correct, it connects fine I can browse the folders fine, but I can't download or upload ANYTHING. But the most bothersome part is when I use Unlimited FTP on the CP it works. Any ideas?

If you want complete access to all your files/directories in your web hosting account you need to log in with your main account credentials via FTP. The username and password for this main account are the same as your cPanel username and password.

What you are experiencing with Filezilla is probably due to you logging in using an FTP account with restricted access. Please read the 'Files > FTP Accounts' section of your cPanel.

I'm logging in with the username it shows on the cPanel and the pass I use to access the cPanel, but it still won't let me download/upload/edit my files. Also, I have check the FTP section and I am using the main/admin account.

You might have to contact HM support directly to get this resolved. If you are connecting to your account in FileZilla using standard FTP settings and you are logging in with your CPanel account information, the fact that you can't upload/download anything points to a permissions issue.

From the sound of things, only HM support will be able to fix this for you.
