Direct link to ftp files??

I need the direct link to files on my ftp server for an image map code. Can't figure out the correct format (e.g. http://www.site.com/image.jpg")

Where are you uploading your image files at? Inside the public_html folder, or another directory?

I'm loading them in the public_html directory
