upload video

How do you upload quicktime video? The file is 102 megs. A large file. Is there any way to make a smaller file or ???
I already know how to upload everything else, just not videos.

I always upload them the same way as any file, ftp.

As far as size goes, it depends on the file-type. AVI will have the largest size; converting it to a more compressed format such as mpeg or flv would reduce its size (but also its quality.)
