oscommerce rentals

i'm making a website that offers rentals and the option to buy the product. how do i add a button to the oscommerce page that says like buy now or something? any ideas would be appreciated,

do you mean besides the one thats already there? (add to cart) or are you talking about the "rent" button.

anyway you would need to edit the /public_html/products/product_info.php page or the /public_html/products/index.php if you want it on the front page (in the new products section) or...(if you wanted to change the front page to add some headliner piece above the new products section.)

what i mean, is that when they click on an item... it shows a bigger picture and the price. Is there anyway i can add a button that could charge a different amount. For example, if someone wanted to rent a specific product... there could be a rent now button. if they wanted to buy a product, i want a buy button and when it adds the product to my cart, it should charge them more.

you would add an extra column in the products table perhaps called products_rental price. you would need to edit the query info when a page requests product info then add the button to that page as well using info from the query. ill have to get back with you if you need specifics
