I uploaded the first paqe of my first site - trixtipz.com. I downloaded one of the free templates and edited it in composer. So far - so good. I uploaded using unlimited ftp (i think) with ascii. However, when I view my site, there are no styles, colors, etc. Did I do something wrong??

Text files should be uploaded in ascii mode, media files like images and mp3 or swf files need to be uploaded in binary mode.

Most FTP clients will allow you to choose and "auto" option. I am not aware of that possibility with Unlimited FTP.

It also appears as if your style sheet is not in the location your html page is looking. Make sure the file "style.css" is in your public_html directory.

If your images still won't show up after these corrections, and if you have the "Prevent Hotlinking" feature enabled, be certain to add your domain to the white-list.

Would it be easier if I took it down and re-loaded it?

It won't be if you haven't uploaded style.css into your public_html directory and viewed your site for further errors.

I'm getting 404 errors for your images and stylesheet. Either the files were not uploaded, they were uploaded to a different location than specified in the code, or they are misspelled. Remember that all filenames are case sensitive (ie. Pic.jpg, pic.jpg, PIC.JPG, pic.JPG, PIC.jpg are all considered different files).

I do thank you all. However, in typical newbie style (I guess), I am in the process of redesigning the page after all. Starting from scratch in Seamonkey composer, won't every thing be all in the same folder? Then, it should all be all-good ?
