MySQL Error

My databases disappeared today, and when I tried to create a new database with "MySQL Databases", it doesn't work.

This is an issue that can only be resolved through contacting HM support. I recommend Live Chat.

I do recall others having database issues lately, and I thought I heard HM was doing something to upgrade their systems. This might be the cause of your errors, but again, only Support will be able to answer your questions on this problem.

Yeah, I had the same scare yesterday as well. I think my heart missed a couple beats when I found that my database had disappeared!

I was about to contact HM Support over LiveChat when I revisited my cPanel and found that everything was fine. My site was no longer reporting a database error. Phew!

Please note that when Hostmonster needs to make MySQL unavailable for any reason, your databases won't appear listed in your Control Panel.
