Since the hardware upgrade at host300.hostmonster.com
there is a downtime of more than 24 hours!!!!
The web files are not visible (my sites are down), the email cannot be reached either with the POP or the webmail 2095 port connection refused,
even the cpanel is not working right now (http://host300.hostmonster.com:2082/login/).
Since this is taking too time now and is a big problem, what is the expected up time?
Anyone knows?
Email from 'HostMonster.Com Support' follows
The server {yoursite}.com is hosted on will be undergoing a hardware upgrade at approximately

I would definately try to contact Hostmonster through their live chat option on the main page, www.hostmonster.com (http://www.hostmonster.com)
You can even ask to be moved to a different server.
As a means to attempt and help troubleshoot, have you tried logging into your cpanel:
1. through your actual domain name (http://yourdomain.com/cpanel)?
2. through the login form on www.hostmonster.com (http://www.hostmonster.com) (upper right corner of the page)?

Don't bother requesting a transfer to another server. If the server you are on is having hardware problems, and you can't access anything, neither can Hostmonster.
You'd have to wait until the server is back up, then the transfer, which can take anywhere from 60 minutes to 48 hours depending on the size of the account, then you'll have to wait for DNS propagation.
Besides which, there is only 3 or 4 reasons that Hostmonster will transfer an account to a different server and fixing a problem isn't one of those reasons.

I'm not sure they doing the same server upgrade for ' Bluehost'... my Bluehost hosting was crash few days ago. With over eight hours of downtime.
Think they are upgrading Bluehost and hostmonster together. :(

I called HM support twice this morning. Both times they told me "they were working on the repair....." which would be obvious. However,it would have been appreciated if someone knew what the problem was.
The cPanel is dead since it's on the same box that's down.
Looks like this is going to be a long day.
Hostmonster and Blue Host are owned by the same company and reside in the same building. However, the are separate entities.

The support techs you speak with are typically level 1 support. They can answer questions on billing and general site issues, but they won't be able to say one way or another as to what is specifically wrong with servers. The good thing about submitting a support ticket is that it can get pushed up to higher levels of support before you hear back from them. Thus you would typically get better, more in depth responses from help tickets.

Per the techs at hostmonster.com the server is dead and they had to oredr parts whcih mean at a minimum another 24 hours of downtime.
They tried to fix it rather then spend the money to replace it. Ihave over 12 sites on it and they are all down. The lack of support team is no help at all.

still having DB problems on host300.. any table in InnoDB is currupted and can't create or execute store proceders.. keep getting this error message:
mysql> call sp_GetStates;
ERROR 29 (HY000): File './mysql/proc.MYD' not found (Errcode: 2)
mysql>

looks like they dropped one of my databases that had many InnoDB tables. I got a fairly recent backup, but can't restore it.. after first InnoDB table is created, the insert to it fails.. says table doesn't exist, but "Show Tables" lists it.. can't drop the table either..
Still some definate issues concerning InnoDB and stored procs... Maybe they don't officially support stored procs, but they've never told me that they don't when I asked about them. And i've been using them since I opened the account a year ago..
Hopefully they'll get this sorted out soon...
