Need Help with Joomla- Big time newbie!!

I brought my domain on monday but had msg to verify site today (which i did).

However, when I log into my site I can't seem to access all of it, (I am using Joomla 1.5) for example nothing happens when I try to click on the buttons that say site, menus, content, extensions, help etc...

I really don't understand why this happening or how to fix it

Also, check to see if the install directory has been removed.
