transfure sub domain to my new domin

hi every body

I would like to ask about how can transfure my subdomin that i have in other company http://bahdour.ahlamontada.com which is free Forums to my new domain here http://www.bahdour.com . I arrange with that company and do all setting in my old free Forums control panal there and its ready.


but the problem .... I dont know how to do setting here in my new domain in hostmonster company my domain name http://www.bahdour.com. please I need that step to do this setting in my control panal here .

Do you own ahlamontada.com?

You shouldn't need to transfer a subdomain. Just create a subdomain within your Hostmonster cPanel account such as http://forum.bahdour.com then transfer the files from your old host to the corresponding subdomain directory in your Hostmonster account. Make the necessary configuration changes to work with your new domain and your site should be good to go!

i am not the owner for old domain

and they told my that is only the way to transfure my forums to the new domain pease i need this step to save my old data base in my new domain

You need a database backup.
You have to go to your new cPanel and make a new database, with new user and password for the database (all in cPanel).
Then you upload your backup to the new database with phpmyadmin (in cPanel)

Once this is done, transfer all your files in the old subdomain to the new one.
You should have a file in which you've got the config to access the database (database's name, user and password). Change the settings to the ones you've done in previous steps.

Then it should work.

If it doesn't, let us know exactly what you've done.
