Does Dadamail work like a autoresponder? Can you insert
a series of messages and schedule them to go out at
different intervals?

Is it hard for a to install and get to working?

Yes, you can and it should not be very difficult to set up. Check out an extended list of features (http://dadamailproject.com/features/) for Dadamail should there be anything else you are curious about.

BTW, you can use SimpleScripts to install Dadamail among other web applications.
