Newbie needs help please!

I am trying to put a search box on my webpage, but I don't even know where to begin. I am thinking that I might need to use a script, but is it java, php or something else? Please help.

Maybe the easiest way is using the cgi script included with the account.

Go to:

Control Panel (CPanel)
CGI Center
Entropy Search (Setup Search Engine)
Copy the code

Done.

I have one account with several domains add-ons....and I added the search box from with-in the C-panel, now when I do a search from one domain, results comes up from all the other domains. I was wondering if each search box on each site would work independently.
