I have registered a '.com.au' domain with ANOTHER company. Because it is .com.au I CANNOT transfer the registration to HostMonster because HostMonster does not support '.com.au'.

SO..

I would like still like HostMonster to host the actual .com.au website files so how do I change the name server details so whenever someone goes to my .com.au address, it points to a directory on my current HostMonster account?

I have logged into the other company and it asks me what I want to change the 'name servers' to.. so what do I change them to (to point to host monsteR) and B: how do I chooose a specific directory/index file for it to open?

Any help would be much appreciated! :)

The Hostmonster nameservers are:

ns1.hostmonster.com
ns2.hostmonster.com

The Hostmonster Support Center (http://helpdesk.hostmonster.com/) contains a lot of useful information that you may find useful later on.

...how do I chooose a specific directory/index file for it to open?

Yes, that can be done through some .htaccess entries.

Thank you! I have plugged these into my other providers 'nameservers' but when HostMonster still says it isnt verrified & I should call support... do I have to wait a day or two for this to take effect?

You usually have to wait ~24 hours for things to propagate, but if your domain name is still not linking to your website then you should definitely contact HM Support. I would give Live Chat (http://www.hostmonster.com) a try first.
