Help with new domain

Hello,
I just purchased a new domain and would like it to be a seprate website alltogether. When I type in the new url (www.newurl.com) I get redirected to www.newurl.mainaccounturl.com what gives? Thanks fot the help im soure I did something wrong.;

Did you use the add-on domain tool in cPanel? Also it may take up to 72 hours for the domain to propagate correctly.

Yes I did. And I think I filled out right. Any thing on the form that would have thrown it out of wack?

I also want to mention that I uploaded wordpress from fantasico delux. Im not sure if that has anything to do with it?
