Is there another way of putting video blogs onto a website without using Youtube embedded video's?

im not sure if youre asking if there is a template already that does what you want or...

if you were allowing uploads of files, you could write some code into the script to create an <object>or <embed> script that would put the file info into your blog script. im not sure if that made sense it would just probably involve adding a table to and or modifying an existing one in the blogs database to store the info the same as you store all the posts.

if the file existed elsewhere and the user could write the <object>or <embed> script into the post

if you made a button or link that poped up a box for them to enter a url and you have code that enters the script. like the add image/ add link buttons below

its either you embeded it, or host it yourself.. :)
well.. youtube embeded is fine, and i using it at one of my new wordpress site too. Just nice, and loading fast.
