Horde fetch mail with Telus

Has anyone tried to use Horde 'fetch mail' with telus.net ?
I've tried every combination of pop3 but horde doesn't know how to play 'go fetch' . At the moment this is my settings.

Account's name: telusaccount

Protocol: pop3 ( auto detect )

Username: myaccount@telusplanet.net (it gags on telus.net)

Password password

Server:mail.telusplanet.net (again with the gagging thing )

Remote Mailbox: inbox

Local Mailbox: telusmail (created a folder )

Telus support is no help, I thought someone here may have tried it..

Assuming your account name, password and mail server are all input correctly, it should work. Does all these settings work using Outlook or Thunderbird? If not, install a third party webmail client like roundcube or telaen.

Everything works fine with almost any client using standard pop3 /mail. settings, even the email previewers like mailwasher and eprompter work.
I'm not sure if it's the fetch function the email server or the maybe the fields being filled in incorrectly.
Ne suggestions welcome.
