Where are you uploading the files?

All files should be uploaded into the public_html folder.

P.S. There is no need to post the same question twice. Once will suffice.

Well I would recommend reading some tutorials on the subjects you are trying to figure out, Also it is a good idea to remember that websites and web design are like everything else practice and training are key. I couldn't just go out and start building a house with out the proper knowledge to do so...

Funny but I have the same problem. I have signed up for the host monster, paid for the domain name and now I thought I was supposed to get a template to start working on the site. I am trying to get a template from the "free templates" icon that appears in a row of icons in the first line of things to do. I go to that site...I'm checking out the free templates and I can't find a way to select the one I want. Do I sign up to that site (noticed it's totally separate from hostmonster) with new username and password? I must sound really naive but this is the first time I sign up for hostmonster. I was with startlogic and it was really much simpler than this.

Do I have to purchase the $59 or more membership to obtain a template for my site? I thought it came free like with startlogic. It doesn't with hostmonster? I tried to register and the only options it gave me are the paid options. So hostmonster does not have free templates for those who purchase a web domain? I mean, it's not like startlogic?

They have a few nice free templates here (http://www.freetemplatesonline.com/)

You're clicking on the Free Templates link at the top of your cpanel page? The free site builder tool they advertise is located in the second from the bottom box and it's called PageWizard Site Builder.
