Please help begginner

Hello this might sound so stupid but here it goes. and before I ask this I want to apolgize for inconvience. I am a beginner to this hostmonster stuff. now I understand what flash is and html codes..just the basics.. But I can't create a site,,when I go into it it gives me error message,,how do u upload your website.

can you give abit more information, etc which sitebuilder/content manager you are using?

to upload your website you should use FTP.

Thank you so much...Im using php formatt. And i used word press to upload the site...now I uploaded it from the ftp and still don't know how to publish it at all.. im just very confused....

make sure you name your first webpage index.html
when you upload it will become your homepage, the others you can name then however you like.

Thank you I guess the real question is do I need to mess with the sql and the php admin at all caus I don't know what Im doing. And how do I add like pre made templates. I have a freind who gave me a premade template i uploaded it but its a error. its in php format one is in wordpress neither one is coming up..I really don't wanna pay anybody 500 to do something that I can do please help me.
