I currently run a www/mail server using IIS, and Surgemail to manage my domains. The location has become unstable at the T1 and I am no longer able to provide uninterrupted service to my business customers. I would like to move domains here, but I can't since I do not have a list of email passwords and I am also really not wanting to manually input 600 email accounts or so. I can not have any downtime whatsoever with these email accounts, nor can I afford to risk losing messages for 1-2 days for DNS propagation.
Is there any way to get a mail server hosted at HostMonster to pull old mail from the previous IP on record for a given domain? How about user accounts? Is there a way batch imports an entire domain's accounts with or without passwords? Can I just set the email server to create accounts on login, and pull old mail from the old server?
