Zen Cart stopped working.

My Zen Cart was working fine before I went away for a week.

Something happened while I was gone and I have no idea what.

I now get this errror message:

I tried upgrading to see if that would help and the error message changed to:

Any clues what happened or how I can fix this. I used Fantastico both to install and to upgrade.

I get the same messages when logging into the site as an admin or as a guest.
