I'm just wondering what a standard good and bad server load is for these servers.
When i joined, the load was steady at .27 and now it's slowing rising, currently at 8.75.
Thank you

I don't think it's a problem. HM strictly caps the amount of server load permissible for each account. If someone exceeds the cap, that website will be taken offline, preventing the entire box from being taken down by one account.

it was kinda weird, lastnight the server was flashing red at 10.05 so i called support. They said 10.05 is a very light load...they've seen the load get into the 30's which blows me away because 4 processors shouldn't be handling that!
Ironically my uptime report showed it went down twice lastnight, maybe they'll take heed and do something about the overload.

Accounts are disabled temporarily when they exceed 20% processor load.

I just finished talking to support and they informed me that one of their servers had a hard drive that went bad. Currently, they are trying to rebuild the drives with the old data (journaling), and that server is expected to be pretty much out of commission for the rest of the day.
They sited people still trying to get onto their sites/accounts causing the rebuild to take longer than usual. I suggested they just take the box offline completely while they are fixing it. No word on that.
I wonder if your site is involved in that since you said you started having problems last night (when I noticed one of my sites acting strange).
