Oh my I have had such a hard time trying to sync my blogger with my site.. This may be annoying to some people but I am just plain stuck. I've been trying to get it so it isn't mysiteblog.blogspot.com but mysite.com/blog.

Anyone care to help? I tried looking up their help guide but that's where I got stuck.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: As I understand there was a thread about blogspot however there is an option where it sends the blog files to your FTP.. but I don't know how to set that up.

this is a thread i found when searching for blogspot here (http://www.hostmonsterforum.com/showthread.php?t=1423&highlight=blogspot). the 404 error may have been from not having a mysite.com/blog/index.html or index.php
in their site

are you planning on creating or moving the entire page and hosting it within your site or something different?

I want to have the URL be mysite.com/blog.. which means the blog site sends all the blog files to my FTP server.. I am just having a hard time figuring out how to get that to work.

I set this up for someone I know a little while ago. Let's see if I can track down the right place...

OK, in your Blogger settings, go to the Publishing tab. On the 'Switch to:' line, click FTP (if it's not there, follow the instructions in the small text then refresh the Publishing page). Then, fill in the relavent details:

FTP Server: Your domain name (mysite.com)
Blog URL: http://mysite.com/blog/
FTP Path: the FTP path to your blog folder - eg. if you are using your root FTP username on your primary domain name with the folder name of blog, this would be /public_html/blog/
The filenames can be left alone, unless you want to change them
FTP Username: your FTP username,
FTP Password: your FTP password.

That should get things working alright.
