HELP! "500 error"

I am getting the following message when I go to any of my websites. My sites were up and running, and then the server crashed. Since it came back up I am unable to access any of my sites. What can I do now?

OK, it just came back up... for a few minutes there it was frustrating.

Try turning off FastCGI in CPanel - FastCGI seems to create intermittent issues with certain sites...

I am at a loss. I don't have the FastCGI enabled, but I will have to check. The sites come and go down at random...
