View Full Version : A domain has expired but I can't get to it?

I've been searching for domain names on GoDaddy.com and I came across a few that have expired yet it says they're taken. Can someone explain what's going on?

Could be the sites are in the "you still have time to renew" stage.

That's probably the issue. After a domain expires, it is placed on hold for 45 days, during which time the original owner is granted a grace period to renew the domain.
