Can't see new favicon

I uploaded a new favicon but can't see it. I remember reading here that for Firefox you have to press press some buttons to see the new one. I used the forum's search but I couldn't find it again and I'm getting sleepy. So just for future references, how do I do this?

With any computer browser you should clear your cache, close the browser, then relaunch it, pressing Ctrl R to force it to refresh.

I briefly see my icon, and then it reverts to the Hostmonster Icon. I've cleared cache, hit <ctl> R, etc, but it's not working. Thanks in advance! I am using Firefox.

do you have any addons installed for Firefox? Any that might be interfering with normal cache behavior?

If you're using any sort of proxy, it may interfere with your browser cache. This includes any anti-malware software that monitors web traffic.
