View Full Version : How can i transefer my domain name to new host space?

I have purchased two website space host in hostmonster.com for my two domain name:
xn--27vz9mqt7a.com
xn--m6ty6ncf263c.com
ftp login:
xn--27vz9mqt7a@sibluesky.com
xn--m6ty6ncf263c@sibluesky.com
ftp password:*****(both of tow)

The host ip is 74.220.207.187 , which is forbiden in China from two weeks ago,
and the person i purchased the space from is disappeared, So i have purchased a new space in hostmonster.com with another IP which can be visit in China.
The new space login:shidai.biz password:*****
ip:74.220.215.206

But i can not transfer these two domain name to my new space, when i try to add an addon domain name, the system response that: the domianname is belong to someone else.
How can i transefer my domain name to new host space?
And if HM need the email to comfirm the domain name owner rights, you can email to me: edear3000@yahoo.com.cn (both of the two domain name register's email)

I post the question in helpdesk.hostmonster.com, and no one answer me, i don't know how to call the hostmonster by phone, because the phone number list in hostmonster.com can not be reached, I am in China.

You can use Live Chat, you have it on hostmonster.com in the bottom left corner.

hostmonste's Live Chat redirect me to helpdesk, just now i called the hostmonster's tecnical support phone, he answered it is a billing question. :confused:
I don't think it is a responsible answer.

If you are in China, the chances are your website will continue to be made unavailable. As far as I know, China seems to have a policy that will prevent you from communicating with most (if not all) HostMonster sites.

This doesn't sound like a billing issue. The person helping you on the phone probably did not fully understand what your issue was. It sounds like a domain transfer/renewals (DNS issue).

If you go to www.hostmonster.com (http://www.hostmonster.com) and click the Live Chat link, you should be able to select the Support Department, and then specify the Subdepartment of Domain Transfers/Renewals (DNS Issues).

Next, enter your name and then type out your question. You will have to give support break as they seem to be overloaded at the moment, but try to speak as clearly as possible and try to remain calm. I can't tell you how often I hear of users yelling at support and nothing getting accomplished ... I don't want to see that happen to you ...
