Website down?

Anyone else website down? Mine seems to be down, then up, then down, then up again today. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Or is there a way I can see what is causing it?

I am not getting a suspended message I am just getting a connection was reset error message.

Theres a link on one of these threads to some information about the servers, and whats going on with them. (E.g. If HostMonster are doing something to them, they are just acting up or if its you..)

I'll have a look for it for you.

I'm having problems too.

I just used that helpful server status page that eskimoet provided to check my website (put in the domain name in the space provided without the www at the front) and while it says there is no problem with the server, when I try to load my site I get a message returned indicating it can't connect to the server.

When I try to load my page with the direct IP URL it tells me the IP is temporarily down. (Yet the server page eskimoet linked still says the server is OK.)

My site was working just five minutes ago.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache (Private data.. History.. That stuff) ?

Sometimes that can help. On my site some times it says images aren't on the server or can't be found but they are, and I know for a fact they are but after clearing the browser cache, as if by magic they're back.

The same thing is happening to me, the problem is that if you ask for support, when you get a support staff in the live chat ; if you have luck the staff will see your sites down, if no he will just say, they're ok.

I asked in the live chat, what I can do, and the response was, go to live chat when your sites are down, its almost impossible because I get the connection reset error for like 3 minutes the most.

My html based sites and php + mysql sites go down. So it's not a database or php issue.

Same here now, unfortunately. Problem clears within minutes.

It's the same with mine now. I'm so sad. Server check is OK but sites work unstable. I don't know what to do, where to check :confused:

It's possible another website on the server you're hosted as well is over-using CPU resources and causing problems for others. Be sure to check your error logs, too. If you can access your control panel during those times, that is.
