Does anyone else notice that Hostmonster is very slow today? My sites are very sluggish and the forum is even acting slower than usual...Can Hostmonster not handle the weekend traffic load anymore?

There are quite honestly too many factors to look into before we start blaming Hostmonster for slowness. There are probably hundreds of points inbetween you and the server your account is stored on. It could be just about anything.

Unless you are in the very same building, using the same network that your servers are on, then it is impossible to tell for sure where the slow down is originating from.

Instead of automatically blaming Hostmonster for slow websites, why not do a bit or research, or better yet, ask HM support if they are experiencing problems with their network ...

By the way, I haven't noticed any lag on any of the 4 accounts I manage on HM servers ... and each one is on a different host.

Here's a site that allows you to pin your website and see all the hops along the way. That might show where the bottleneck is.
