I am new not only here but to web design. I have registered my domain and set up an acct. with hostmonster. I have a general idea about the content I want to have on my new website but I find the pagebuilder software in the control panel quite limited with templates and designs. I am completely in the dark with HTML (or XHTML), CSS, javascript .....ect. Can anyone suggest some webdesign software that would work on hostmonster that a newbie such as myself would find userfriendly?
Thanks so much in advance for any help.

Dreamweaver = www.adobe.com Price $ 600
Perfect Website Creator = www.cosmi.com Price $ Unknown was given by a bundle for 6 bucks at Big Lots (best software I have used)
Microsoft Expression Studio Price $600 brand new and its REALLY good. www.microsoft.com/expression
Expression Web is the new Frontpage. But there are also Expression Design, Blend, and media.
Or hire a web designer.

Try KompoZer. It's a bug-fixed version of NVU. Free.

LOL! That's what my dad says. I do hate flash because takes forever to load etc. I am also learning ASP/ASPX. It can do somethings like flash. Microsoft.com doesn't have any flash on it just asp/aspx.
