Appears the database is down, any eta on a fix? I am getting the following errors, been occurring for the last few days.

#2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured)
--------------------------
Fantastico is unable to connect to your MySQL server at this time. Please contact your host for assistance.

Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

thanks

I'm having the exact same problem with all of my mySQL databases. I go to list them and nothing shows up so I go into phpmyadmin and it gives me and error. I tried calling support but their on holiday. Hopefully they will get this fixed soon. If you know of something I can do to get this fixed faster please email me ASAP. Thanks

Same here, and I can't even access fantastico. Here's one of the errors I get from my error log.

[Tue Jan 1 10:34:33 2008] [error] [client 38.99.44.105] script not found or unable to stat: /usr/local/apache/htdocs/pm.php Useless use of hash element in void context at Sources/Lib/FUNC.pm line 180. DBI connect('spiritp2_md:localhost','spiritp2_dead',.. .) failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) at Sources/iDatabase/Driver/mySQL.pm line 88

Any Idea when it's going to be back up?

Because this is shared hosting, seemingly random crashes/downtime are expected. Unfortunately it's something you just have to bear with.

If you do want to talk to support about downtime, use Live Chat, not tickets. The tickets take a while to be responded to (and Live Chat is obviously live)

This is something that only support can help you out with. We are users just like you and know about as much.
