Ok new here how do you ftp using dreamweaver cs3 built in site manager
or please point to any doc that exist on how to thanks in advance

Go intro site, manage sites, remote info, in access, type ftp, in ftp host type the info hostmonster sent you, and follow the prompts.
This should set it up for you to use ftp transfers

I use Dreamweaver as well. I seem to have set it up correctly, as the test connects to the server, etc.

But my problem is that it seems to locate the uploaded files to a subdirectory instead of the site root, so when I upload a new index.html page, it puts it in the wrong directory on the server.

How do I get it into the root directory?

Also, I have an addon site that I don't seem to be able to connect to, to upload the secondary site files either. Is that possibly just a path setting that I don't seem to have right yet?
