hey all ;)
i just joined host monster few weeks ago and i like everything about it till now.

i have one question.. i created a subdomain and i already limited the size for it and i created FTP user name and password for it but i could not find a way for limiting the
bandwidth for that directory.
i want to share some files but i don't want that to affect the whole bandwidth that
i have.

thank u all and still looking for the answer ^_*

You can't. Hostmonster is not a reseller. With a reseller you could do this.

You'll just have to keep an eye on it if you won't want it going over a certain limit.

I wanted to get a reseller. But I kept looking and looking and gave up and went with hostmonster. I wanted lots of space and bandwith. And not many resellers had that unless you are willing to pay 50 bucks a month. I'd just keep an eye on it.

yeah just keep a eye on it, but you really shouldn't have anything to worry about 6,000 GB on Bandwidth is a lot.

Does anyone ever go over their bandwidth? Say, if you have a site that attracts over 10,000 user daily, will you go over?

The only time you would have to worry about messing with the bandwidth is when you host a file server and the files are large in size, like ISO images of various Linux flavors.

You should not have a problem with a normal site that attracts normal users doing normal user things. I repeat, you *should* not have problems.
