Remote posting to WP blog not working

Hi all,

For a long time I've been using a desktop application to post articles to my site and wordpress blog. Some weeks ago it stopped working and I can't get it to work again. According support there might be a problem with the php.ini file.
The application is using the xmlrpc.php file from wp.
On other hosting accounts (other hosting companies) there are no problems, only the hostmonster account.
Does anyone have a suggestion where to look?

Does the application give you any error messages of any sort? Its a little hard to take a guess at what the problem might be :D

What kind of program is it?

It's a custom build program that is uploading/connecting using remote methods.
It has been working on hostmonster for a while. I have no idea what causes the failure. No files have been added/removed to the directories where the blogs are located.
Can the application be blocked by some setting in the php.ini file?
Currently running on fast cgi, but no difference if this is switched off.

Sorry for not being able to give more details on the program. This is all their support told me.

Without knowing what errors are coming up, its almost impossible to guess what the issue might be (especially since its a custom built program).

You need to get the support guys to give you more info.
