I was trying to installl Joomla! from Fantastico when this error message came up:
Install Joomla (2/3)
The installation can not be completed:
- You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.
Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.
Then I installed it manually from Joomla.org and there was no READ-ME?
Can somebody please help me?
Thanks

You are getting this error because you have previously installed Joomla! or another script into your public_html directory using Fantastico. You have to uninstall whatever script is installed first, then install Joomla! (if you want to use Fantastico).
Also, the read-me file is not important unless you want to read the change log and install/upgrade instructions.
My suggestion would be to go backto Fantastico, click on Joomla! and look for any installation of Joomla! you currently have. There should be a list there with a Removal link next to each installation.
This should clear the error so you can go ahead and install it via fantastico.
If you want to install it manually, then you will have to perform a few extra steps, such as creating the database, username/password, uploading the files to your website and running the install script.

I already removed it.
Also, I have no idea of what I have to do without the Read-me.
You'd be wanting this webpage (http://help.joomla.org/content/category/15/99/132/)... This is the Installation Guide for Joomla.
