Has anyone else used google adsense? I am getting an error when I try and paste the HTML on my home page. My home page says undefined when I save the code using both host monster's HTML editor. I then used dreamweaver to write in the code then tested it in Iexplore. With everything working I then uploaded to my server, then saved. Now when I reload/refresh the page in Host monster, I get the same undefined???
What's going on? Has anyone reported this bug to monster? Are they just not getting it?
So far their technical support people are just stupid! The guy I talked to was clueless.
This doesn't sound like an issue that HostMonster would support - its most likely a problem between your HTML/Javascript code and the Google AdSense code.
"Undefined" sounds like its coming out of the Javascript code. I would ensure that the Javascript code is 100% correct once transferred from Google and ensure that you do the Javascript by hand so that the WYSIWYG tools can't mangle it...

Sounds like a Javascript problem to me. I've noticed that highlighting and copying the code from Google often cuts off the last part, so you need to click the textarea box twice to ensure it doesn't cut off. Verify that all the tags on your page are closed.

Like I had said before though, I used adobe dreamweaver. I put the code in and checked it with a browser. Everything showed up and looked fine. I then uploaded that page. Now when I first saw it and uploaded it, it showed up and seemed to work. However, when I exited and looked again to double check the page was no longer working. ??undefined??
So I am pretty sure that this has something to do with host monster. I guess I will see if their tech support knows anything about this. I also might try and get some different code, and try each one!
Does anyone have google ads on their site?

Make sure your browser's cache is cleared. I have Adsense on my sites and no issues with it at all. That said, on a few occasions it has not displayed properly but cleared up when I cleared my browser cache.
As you have seen your Adsense block shown correctly, I will assume your script is working. Give us a link and we can check it out too.

Griff told it
Your Host has any influence on your Websites content in this case. Most probably all of the 200'000 HM clients do have Adsense running.
Must be a code problem, are you sure you din't change it in NO WAY ?.
Perhaps you did not spec. at Adsense the correct Website you are using, or it's the cache situation here explained.

I use Adsense on all my sites, and I've set it up on client sites hosted with Hostmonster as well. I've had no problems with Adsense on multiple Hostmonster servers. This is not a Hostmonster issue.

Alrighty then, I am going to go through again and see what I can com up with. Just a quick question though. Now you say to clear my browser cache, right. I will try that. How do I do that exactly? Are you talking clearning all cookies and temp internet files or something else?
